Current travel requirements for air arrivals as of Phase 5 -  UPDATED February 18, 2022:

  1. All eligible travelers (https://www.exploregov.ky/travelcayman) are required to apply on the Travel Cayman Portal and will be issued with a travel certificate which is required for entry. Unvaccinated children age 11 and younger will assume the vaccination status of their adult travel companions.
  2. All inbound travellers age 5 and older must take a pre-arrival polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test or certified rapid test within the day before to departure. Video proctored rapid testing from AZOVA (www.azova.com) now accepted. Proof of a negative PCR test, certified rapid test, or video proctored rapid test result must be presented upon check-in at the airport (https://www.visitcaymanislands.com/en-us/travel-requirements/applying-to-travel-cayman/pre-arrival-polymerase-chain-reaction-(pcr)-test). Travelers under the age of 5 are not required to undergo testing.
  3. Effective December 6, 2021 - before boarding a flight to the US from a foreign country, all air passengers- 2 years or older – are required to present a negative COVID-19 viral test result taken no more than 1 day before travel, or documentation of having recovered from COVID-19 in the past 90 days.

Air passengers will also be required to confirm in the form of an attestation that the information they present is true. (see https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/testing-international-air-travelers.html for more information)                      Effective April 1, 2022 -  pre-entry tests will no longer be required for fully vaccinated travellers entering Canada by land, air or water. Until then, follow the pre-entry test requirements. You must still use ArriveCAN before and after April 1 (https://travel.gc.ca/travel-covid/travel-restrictions/covid-vaccinated-travellers-entering-canada). The nearest testing location to The Colonial Club is Total Health (https://www.totalhealth.ky/), located directly across West Bay Road in The Grand Pavilion Commercial Centre.

While the above is meant to provide a brief overview of the entry and exit requirements at this time, it is not exhaustive and should not be relied upon solely.  Please refer to guidance provided by Travel Cayman, the CDC (if US based) and your airline.

Please note that due or our limited number of rental units, you may be required to transfer to a larger hotel if instructed by Public Heath to quarantine beyond your scheduled departure date and beyond our ability to extend your stay.  Re points 2 and 3 above, travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, the cost of quarantine, and change of flights is recommended.
